HB2799/SB2601 (these are new bill numbers and replace HB1480/SB0150) this legislation is to establish a precious metals depository in the state of Tennessee. Sponsored by Representative Bud Hulsey and Senator Frank Niceley
HB2804/SB2737 (these are the new bill numbers to replace HB1481/SB0311) this legislation will allow the use of gold/silver coinage as legal tender but it also allows TN to utilize the precious metals depository in Texas. Sponsored by Representative Bud Hulsey and Senator Frank Niceley.
PASSED IN THE FIRST SESSION OF OUR 2 YEAR-SESSION (2023)
SB1147 (Pub. Ch. 479) this bill was passed in 2023 against UN Agenda 21/2030 Agenda and Net Zero. It took 10 years to get this bill passed. This bill was first sponsored 10 years ago by Senator Mike Bell and Representative Sheila Butt (prior to 2030 Agenda and Net Zero) but was never passed. Sponsored by Senator Frank Niceley and Representative Powers and passed in 2023.
JOINT RESOLUTION SUPPORTING NULLFICATION PASSED IN A LATER SESSION (2021)
During the 112th Assembly (2021-2022) a join resolution was passed on 10/29/21 to protect state rights. HJR9005 was substituted with SJR9005. SJR9005 was passed on 10/29/2021. Lets remind our legislators in 2024 of their support for Nullification under SJR9005. How can they be for it in 2021 and against it in 2023 or in the next legislative session (2024)?
