"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brush-fires of freedom in the minds of men" - attributed to Sam Adams-
These inspiring words, attributed to Adams stimulated prompted/provoked many small 'bonfires of freedom" throughout our Colonies that eventually merged into the conflagration/inferno that drove our American Revolution and War of Independence. Today a similar citizen's movement is developing in the interest of State Sovereignty, Tennessee's State Sovereignty in particular. Many local groups of Sovereignty loving grassroots Tennesseans are expressing their support for Tennessee's State Sovereignty by adopting resolutions of support and participating in TN Citizens for State Sovereignty's (TNCSS) campaign. This campaign will result in enactment of HB2795/SB2775 during the 2nd session of Tennessee General Assembly Session 113 starting in January 2024. HB2795/SB2775 will construct a legal process in which to invoke nullification when it is deemed that our federal government has placed a mandate on the state that is outside their 18 enumerated powers.
It is our hope that you will take the sample Resolution and use it to get the endorsement for HB2795/SB2775 from your local political party organization, County Commissioners and City Council members. Send the signed and approved Resolution to: [email protected] and I will post the Resolution on this website under this tab. THANK YOU
