"Vote the bums out!" is the dominant political strategy in the United States. It's absolutely the wrong one, too.
The petition drive in support of Restoring State Sovereignty Through Nullification Act has ended and petitions have been delivered to Senator Janice Bowling. We collected 917 signatures. THANK YOU very much to everyone that participated in the petition drive.

What can we/you do?

1. Get educated on the Constitution and especially the 9th and 10th Amendment, Art. 1 Sec. 8, Sec. 9, Sec. 10 and Nullification (Nullification is already a constitutional option). Know the 18 enumerated legislative powers given to the federal government in Article 1 Section 8 (you can find them on our FLYER at the bottom of this page). Anything that is not listed in those 18 enumerated legislative powers are under the control of the state/people. This website provides a lot of educational information on Nullification. See the Nullification tab.
2. Organize and educate others at the grass roots level and local/state government levels. Reach out to me using the contact form and I will be glad to help you get started and provide support.
3. Purchase a book called: "Nullification" by Tom Wood. I also recommend a book by KrisAnne Hall called "Sovereign Duty", a documentary by KrisAnne Hall called NONCOMPLIANT and a presentation by Robert Brown called "Nullification: The Rightful Remedy." Both NONCOMPLIANT and "Nullification: The Rightful Remedy" can be found here on our website under the Nullification tab. I would also recommend Rep. Hulsey's 13 minute presentation on his legislation (HB0726) also under the Nullification tab. JBS and The Tenth Amendment Center provide a wealth of resources on this subject as does our Nullification tab.
4. Go to the "Substack" tab and sign up. PLEASE get your family, friends and neighbors to sign up to the TNCSS Substack page.
5. Visit this website on a regular basis for detailed information. We are updating and adding information all the time. We have a lot of information so take your time and look around the site.
6. Tennessee has legislation for 2025 to create 5 different pathways in which to invoke a Nullification Process - this is not legislation to legalize Nullification (it is already legal) it is legislation to create a process in which to invoke Nullification (Refusal to comply). If you live outside the state of TN you can duplicate this bill or create your own process legislation. HB0441/SB0479
7. Be prepared to create a team to make calls and send emails to our TN legislators once our bills start moving through committees in 2025. TNCSS will supply contact information and a script.
8. If you form a state group outside the state of TN supporting legislation to create a Nullification process contact me.
9. Find state legislators that you feel would be supportive of this idea. We are doing this in TN and you can find our state legislators that have signed on under the "About the Team" tab. Ask your state reps to endorse the TNCSS organization. And if you are reading this and you are from TN and do not see your state Representative and Senator on the list contact them and ask them to allow us to add their name to the list. If they agree contact me so I can add their names to our website. Even the bluest of states has at least one legislator that is a true constitutional patriot. Get to know that legislator even if he/she is outside your district. Share the sample legislation (HB2795) and try to get them to sponsor the same legislation. We have done the work in creating the process in HB2795 (or present your own process) so all they have to do is get another legislator to sponsor the companion bill.
10. Also, discuss setting up a Nullification or State Sovereignty Caucus in your state. This will help in identifying unconstitutional acts perpetrated by our federal government and will help facilitate Nullification when appropriate.
11. Do not allow your state government to threaten with "federal funding." That is a mechanism to shut you down. Challenge the narrative. Demand to know "what federal funding will be jeopardized" and if their is a legitimate threat can we live without that funding?? We cannot just fold like a cheap suit every time they throw out the "federal funding" threat.
12. Find constitutional legal experts in your state to provide guidance; find people that are willing to testify in support of what your state legislator is trying to do. TNCSS has 5 constitutional experts on board.
13. MOST of all do not get discouraged. It has taken a long time to get this country in the mess we find ourselves today and it will take time to turn it back around. We have to eat this elephant one bite at a time. Stay the course. Stay focused on this mission and do not get overwhelmed trying to bring in other issues and eat that elephant all at once. The mission for right now is: to get a process established in TN and other states so Nullification will be easier to invoke and control. Nullification will cure a multitude of sins.
14. Make your car a rolling billboard, walk your block and leave a flyer on your neighbors door, get on local radio stations, write to local newspapers, talk to your legislators, join community events and set up a sign up table for folks to join TNCSS, reach out to other grass roots groups for added support (TNCSS has a partners program....see TNCSS Partners tab). recruit county leaders for TNCSS. We have sample resolutions, print one out and try to get it passed at your City Council/County Commission level and state and local GOP/DNC groups. Don't leave out the Democrats. They have skin in this game too. This is not an R or D issue. This is an American issue. It is an issue of liberty and freedom. There is power in numbers.
15. Look at the "2025 Legislative Session Updates" tab of this website for needed actions once the legislative session for the new year starts in January 2025. Participate in the action plan. I make it extremely easy to take the needed action.
16. If you live outside Tennessee set up a Substack page and call it ?? Citizens for State Sovereignty (??=your state 2 letter ID) and create a website (with the same name) and start recruiting members and County Leaders. TNCSS provides a lot of information you can use. Feel free to take our information for your site. Get out and talk to people about your group. Use the helpful hints above.

I you are looking for a nice pamphlet/brochure to print and hand out at an event this is set up for easy at home printing. On my printer I set the pamphlet to print color, 2 sided copy and when offered the option of "flip on long edge" or "flip on short edge" I chose "flip on short edge" and it printed perfectly.
